鋼琴演奏文憑（Piano Performance Diploma）是 ABRSM（英國皇家音樂學院聯合委員會）及 Trinity College London 等國際音樂考試機構設立的最高級別考試，代表著演奏者已達到接近專業演奏家的水平。與 Grade 1 至 Grade 8 的分級考試不同，演奏文憑考試更著重於整體藝術表現、音樂詮釋能力及演奏技巧的全面掌握。

Piano Performance Diplomas represent the highest tier of the ABRSM and Trinity College London examination systems, designed for pianists who have completed Grade 8 and are ready to demonstrate near-professional levels of musicianship. Unlike the graded examinations (Grades 1–8), diploma examinations place far greater emphasis on artistic interpretation, stylistic awareness, and the ability to communicate a personal musical vision to an audience.
Achieving a piano diploma is not merely an examination result — it is a credential recognised by conservatoires and universities worldwide, including the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
ABRSM 的鋼琴演奏文憑分為三個層次，難度逐步提升。考試僅考演奏，不含視奏或口試：
ARSM（皇家音樂學院聯合委員會副院士）
Associate of the Royal Schools of Music
ABRSM 初級演奏文憑。前置要求：ABRSM 8 級。考試為 30 分鐘演奏節目，至少 20 分鐘選自 ABRSM 官方曲目列表，最多 10 分鐘可選八級或以上水平的自選曲目。滿分 50 分（合格 34 分、良好 40 分、優異 45 分）。
LRSM（皇家音樂學院聯合委員會院士）
Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music
ABRSM 中級演奏文憑。前置要求：ARSM。要求更高的演奏技巧及音樂詮釋能力，曲目難度顯著提升。同樣僅考演奏，滿分 50 分。
FRSM（皇家音樂學院聯合委員會院士）
Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music
ABRSM 最高級演奏文憑。前置要求：LRSM。要求考生具備接近職業演奏家的演奏水準及深厚的音樂學識，是 ABRSM 演奏文憑體系的頂點。
ABRSM offers three progressively demanding piano diplomas. All three examinations consist of a performance recital only — no sight-reading or viva voce is required:
ARSM — Associate of the Royal Schools of Music
The entry-level ABRSM performance diploma. Prerequisites: ABRSM Grade 8. The examination consists of a 30-minute recital: at least 20 minutes from the ABRSM official repertoire list, with up to 10 minutes of free choice at Grade 8 level or above. Marked out of 50 (Pass 34, Merit 40, Distinction 45).
LRSM — Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music
The intermediate ABRSM performance diploma. Prerequisites: ARSM. Demands a higher standard of technical command and musical interpretation, with a more demanding recital programme. Also marked out of 50.
FRSM — Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music
The highest ABRSM performance diploma. Prerequisites: LRSM. Requires near-professional standards of playing and a deep scholarly understanding of the repertoire — the pinnacle of the ABRSM diploma system.
Trinity College London 亦設有完整的演奏文憑體系，與 ABRSM 體系同樣獲得國際音樂學院廣泛認可：
ATCL（Trinity 初級演奏文憑）
Associate of Trinity College London
前置要求：Trinity 8 級。考試包括演奏節目（90%）及節目策劃（10%），演奏時間 32–38 分鐘。曲目選擇自由度高，超過 3,500 首可選。滿分 100 分（合格 60 分、優異 80 分）。
LTCL（Trinity 中級演奏文憑）
Licentiate of Trinity College London
前置要求：ATCL 或同等水平。難度更高，要求演奏者具備更成熟的藝術詮釋能力。天培鋼琴學院學生 Moses 在 ATCL 不合格後，經系統訓練於 LTCL 取得 77 分優異成績。
FTCL（Trinity 高級演奏文憑）
Fellowship of Trinity College London
Trinity 最高級演奏文憑，前置要求：LTCL。要求達到職業演奏家水平，是 Trinity 演奏文憑體系的頂點。
Trinity College London offers a parallel diploma system, equally well-regarded by international conservatoires:
ATCL — Associate of Trinity College London
Prerequisites: Trinity Grade 8. The examination includes a recital programme (90%) and programme planning (10%), with a performance duration of 32–38 minutes. Candidates enjoy a high degree of repertoire freedom, with over 3,500 works to choose from. Marked out of 100 (Pass 60, Distinction 80).
LTCL — Licentiate of Trinity College London
Prerequisites: ATCL or equivalent. Demands a more mature level of artistic interpretation and technical command. One of Tin Pui Piano Academy's students, Moses, achieved a Distinction score of 77/100 at LTCL after systematic training — having previously been unsuccessful at ATCL.
FTCL — Fellowship of Trinity College London
The highest Trinity performance diploma. Prerequisites: LTCL. Requires professional-level performance standards — the pinnacle of the Trinity diploma system.

Based on Tin-Pui Tang's extensive teaching experience, successful diploma candidates consistently demonstrate strength in the following areas:
Repertoire selection: Choosing works that showcase technical strengths while covering the required stylistic range across Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary periods
Technical foundation: Scales, arpeggios, and double notes must be executed with consistent evenness and musical shaping
Musical interpretation: Deep study of compositional context, historical style, and the development of a personal artistic voice
Programme design (ATCL): Selecting works that offer meaningful contrast in mood, style, and period
Systematic training: Diploma preparation requires long-term, structured study — typically one to two years of dedicated preparation
ARSM DISTINCTION · 46/50
一位天培學生在完成 ABRSM 八級後，經系統訓練取得 ARSM Distinction 46/50 的優異成績。

LTCL · 77/100 (DISTINCTION)

Tin-Pui Tang holds a Master of Arts in Piano Performance with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, London, and an Artist Diploma from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Israel — both on full scholarship. He studied under the legendary pianist Arie Vardi, teacher of Lang Lang and Sa Chen. Under his guidance, students have successfully achieved ARSM Distinction and LTCL Distinction results.
